About the Unit

With a view to accelerate Yara Internationals new ambition to \xe2\x80\x9cGrow a Nature Positive food future and global mission to \'responsibly feed the world and protect the planet\', contributing sustainably to progress the global goals by 2030 and deliver on Yara Africa Asia commercial business objects as set out in the strategy. The role of I&I Delivery and Operations will report to SVP Innovation and Impact.

We are an international team of engineers, scientists, researchers, designers and agronomists working together to achieve Yara\'s goal to responsibly feed this world and protect the planet. Join us in building new digital products and services to create value for stakeholders across the agricultural ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the team processes which includes but not limited to budget tracking and reports, new launch processes, legal status tracking.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the YAA Innovation Center - Budgets, bookings and co-ordination of events in collaboration with extended team (Marketing, Digital, Agronomy and sustainability)
  • Consolidation and facilitation of key showcases / show & tell sessions across portfolio, across regions.
  • Facilitates Innovation process, acting as the lead for the team responsible for ensuring all ideas go through necessary approvals before being submitted to product teams.
  • Identify and manage cross-team interdependencies; facilitate cross-functional alignment to drive progress against goals and objectives, establish clear next steps and owners, and resolve blockers that impede progress.
  • Build standardization amongst tools, processes and approach to streamline and optimize intake approach for Yara Africa Asia Innovation and Impact
  • Outcome and Metrics Tracking/Reporting: Work closely with initiative owners across the organization to develop goals, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for ongoing value tracking
  • Develop systems for managing performance against those goals; ensure that our key efforts and initiatives are aligned to our strategic priorities.
  • Continuously collaborate across regional organization to generate pipeline coordination of new initiatives ahead of organizational cadence
  • Aligning agile activities and develop the overall Agile knowledge base of the team through competency programs, talent development and inclusivity programs. As there are many teams looking at Agile within Yara, peer collaboration across the business is key for this.
Profile
  • Tertiary Qualification in Business and or equivalent
  • Strong working experience working global organizations.
  • Managed multiple projects/Agile teams at once at various stages
  • Possesses comprehensive understanding of business case creation, evaluation and solidification, Agile practices.
  • Exhibits knowledge and skillset of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, decentralized decision making and increasing transparency in teams.
  • Exceptional communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills. Humble, collaborative, team player, willing to step up and support colleagues.
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Strong in negotiation and persuasion, enjoy networking sessions and thrive to get buy in and commitment to close deals
