To review the work of subordinates to make sure that established procedures and policies are followed.
To ensure hygienic service areas and good condition of furniture and equipment
To constantly update The VIP in-house list
To compile a guest data base for all return guests and their preferences
To ensure hotel's standards, policies and procedures are carried out by the rank & file staff.
To direct performance of team members and follow up with corrections where needed.
To ensure security and confidentiality of guests and hotel information.
To establish monthly managers report.
Analysis and explanation on monthly results.
Compilation of guest comments and feedback.
Establish par levels for supplies and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish.
Review sales for previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounting. Track revenue against budget.
Identify situations, which compromise the department's standards
Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however, busy whatever time of the day. Promote positive guest relations at all times.
Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.
Monitor and handle guest complaints by instant pacification and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Check the status of all orders and ensure that they are delivered with designated timelines.
To control the removing of trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridor.
To check the order and Trolley/Tray set up before delivery to the room.
Expedite on floor or in kitchen as business demands
Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift.
Conduct pre-shift meeting with staff and review all information pertinent to the day's business and customer feedback.
To introduce, visit and supervise service at VIP guest rooms.
To carry out any other function and duties assigned by the Hotel Management.
Requirements
:
Completion of GCE 'N' or GCE 'O'; NTC Certification; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong planning and organisational skills to run a streamlined operation.
Excellent interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers.
* Problem-solving ability to resolve issues as they arise.
