Who will you be working with?

Our local team has a wealth of knowledge on our Platform Screen Door Systems, starting from co-ordination, sequence of work, site installation, testing & commissioning, integrated testing, trouble-shooting and etc. We also provide technical support, field service to different products within Wabtec Organization. Here you will interact daily with the customer and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our project, customers and their operations.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the local team, you will be responsible to co-ordinate with key stake holders, supervising subcontractors installation work and progress, managing customer and End-customers expectation. Most importantly, to make sure that the site works are conducted safely, correctly and timely.

Where is the position located?

The position is based at our site office on Paya Lebar Road, Singapore.

What will your typical day look like?

• Coordinate with Civils and Main Contractor on project site installation.
• Work closely with Technical Manager to conduct site survey and manage /resolve on-site technical issues.
• Work closely with Project Manager and adhere to installation schedule.
• Maintain proper documentation and reports as necessary.
• Lead and supervise site supervisors, technicians and/or contractors to perform installation/retrofit/refurbishment works.
• Ensure site safety, works quality & workmanship as specified.
• Develop productive relationships with clients teams to ensure successful handover and post-implementation operation of projects.

What do we want to know about you?

• Degree holder in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma with more than 5+ years of experience / knowledge
• 3-5 years working experience in railway, engineering, construction or related industries
• Adherence and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
• Understanding of working in railway construction environment
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Tools
• Written and spoken English
• Occasional night work as required
• Experience in staff supervision (Preferred)
• Holder of Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS), Manage Work At Height (MWAH) qualification (preferred)
• Capability to pick up various product lines knowledge & transfer to service team member.
