Job Description

Installation:

Installing signs on different surfaces and structures, following blueprints and specifications.

Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs, such as bulb replacement or component repair.

Removal:

Removing signs from existing locations.

Safety:

Ensuring that installations are safe and secure, following safety protocols and regulations.

Communication:

Communicating with clients and project managers to ensure installations meet their specifications.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of installations and maintenance work.

Site Preparation:

Preparing poles, buildings, and other structures for sign installation.

Material Handling:

Transporting and handling signage materials, including heavy materials.

Tool Operation:

Operating hand and power tools, including drills, saws, cranes, and other equipment.

Basic Electrical Work:

Performing basic electrical wiring and connecting signs to power sources, especially for illuminated signs.

Customer Service:

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients.
Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Fitness:

Being comfortable working at heights and having the ability to lift heavy materials.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.

Problem-Solving:

Identifying and resolving issues related to signage installation and maintenance.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Safety Awareness:

Understanding and adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Driving Skills:

A valid driver's license and experience driving commercial vehicles (may be required).

Tool Proficiency:

Proficiency in using hand and power tools. *
