Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials. Construct, install, and repair frameworks, partitions, doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden structures. Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. Carry out formwork and shuttering for concrete works. Inspect and ensure accuracy, alignment, and stability of structures. Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment while working on site. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition. Work closely with supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter in construction or related field. Knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing. Ability to work with technical drawings and measurements. Familiarity with safety regulations and safe handling of tools and materials. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor/indoor environments. * Working long hours and willing to under sun.
