Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and site layouts.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
Construct and install formwork, partitions, doors, windows, flooring, and other wooden structures.
Perform repair and maintenance work on existing structures.
Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work meets quality, accuracy, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with other tradesmen and site supervisors to complete work on schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all site safety rules.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of carpentry experience in construction or related industries.
Skilled in using carpentry tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Knowledge of different types of wood and construction materials.
Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements.
Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
