Instructional Systems DesignerCompany: Boeing Singapore T&FS BTE LTDJob ID: 00000427470Date Posted: 2024-06-10Location: SGP - Singapore, Singapore Qualifications:Boeing Global Services is seeking several Instructional Systems Designers based in Singapore at our Training Campus, to support the design and development of customer-facing maintenance training program and courseware. The ideal candidates will be curious with a passion for discovering and for designing effective learning solutions. The successful candidates will be able to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse skillsets and stakeholders to understand, interpret, and act upon the needs of learners. The ability to navigate a diverse field of technical and operational complexity to accomplish objectives is key to success in this position. These positions are focused on enhancing safe and efficient maintenance of Boeing commercial airplanes around the world, and offer the opportunity to make a considerable impact in the aviation industry.This is a fully virtual position but could require limited travel domestically for meetings.Position Responsibilities:Engages in discovery; problem identification, definition, and analysis to frame customer needs in terms of training solutionsDevelops and conducts interviews, surveys and stakeholder analysis. Uses proven methods to explore response in-depth and uncover themesDefines and employs solid research methodologies to understand the aviation maintenance ecosystem at the global and local levelsConducts learner segmentation and analysis to identify specific needs and optimize the path to competency for groups of learners.Identifies and defines actors and roles within the maintenance ecosystem. Performs job role analysis and task analysisPartners with diverse subject matter experts to oversee/contribute to the creation of training courseware throughout all stages of the ADDIE process, as appropriateDevelops learning, instructional, and assessment strategies optimal to the learning situationDevelops learning objectives, curricula, syllabi, and lesson plans as requiredConducts cost / benefit and alternative training analysis, within the existing portfolio, to determine the appropriate training aids and devices for a given situationDesigns instructional content for multiple learning environments including: virtual/digital learning, traditional instructor-led learning, and blended learning/flipped classroom learning.Plans and conducts courseware validation with stakeholdersEvaluate the outcomes of training solutions; gathers and processes feedback to measure and improve the efficacy of training programs and coursewareUnderstands and operates within the parameters of multiple, complex regulatory environmentsSelf-manages work statement and collaborates with project managers in an Agile environmentEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years\xe2\x80\x99 minimum experience in a highly technical, regulated field5 years\' minimum experience with technical training designPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Formal Instructional Systems Designer qualification from a recognized institution5 years\xe2\x80\x99 minimum Aviation Industry experience in a formal training, education or instructional design position,Relocation:This position does not offer relocation.
