The Conservatory is seeking a full-time Instructor/Teaching Assistant in the Audio Arts & Sciences. The initial term of appointment shall be for one year (renewable).
Responsibilities of the appointment include:
- Developing and teaching recording system modules related to microphone design and techniques, loudspeakers design and studio outboard equipment, ranging from classical to pop music recording techniques.
- Supervising of students' studio projects.
- Supporting recording services for conservatory's faculty, students, concerts and events.
- Supporting recording studio maintenance.
The successful candidate is expected to have at least a good Honours degree in Audio Arts or equivalent field in the recording industry, at least 5 years working experience with large format digital console or DAW controller, abundant recording and edit experience on Protocol system, experience in recording both concert hall and recording studio environment, and significant teaching or training experience.
