We provide immersive, part-time programs taught by experts with real-world experience, enabling learners to gain hands-on skills that translate directly to the workplace. We are currently expanding our team and seeking dedicated professionals to join us as UX Instructors.

About the Course

Vertical Institute's UX Design Course provides learners with a strong foundation in user experience design, covering essential areas such as user research and persona development, information architecture and wireframing, interactive prototyping, usability testing and iterative refinement, as well as emerging UX trends and industry best practices. Throughout the program, participants engage in real-world projects that help them develop practical skills, create intuitive digital experiences, and build a compelling UX portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct dynamic and engaging online classes on core UX design topicsTeach hands-on skills such as: User interviews and synthesising research findings Creating wireframes and both low- and high-fidelity prototypes (e.g., with Figma or similar tools) Running usability tests, performing heuristic evaluations, and analysing feedback Applying UX strategy and design thinking principles Guide students through practical exercises and capstone projects Communicate UX concepts clearly to beginners from varied backgrounds Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help learners progress Adjust teaching methods based on student feedback and evolving design practices

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in the Finance sector with a strong UX design background Proficiency in: User-centred design frameworks Prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) Conducting and interpreting usability studies Accessibility principles, responsive design, and emerging UX trends Excellent communication and teaching skills, able to break down complex ideas for new learners Confident in facilitating sessions over Zoom with a professional remote setup (camera, microphone, stable internet) Prior experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching is highly preferred
