Insurance Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) is a team of experienced professionals providing a range of services around IFRS 17, Finance transformation, and Insurance reporting advisory. Examples include IFRS 17 implementation; streamlining of financial close processes; migration of accounting ledger; gap analysis on Target Operating Model; gap analysis on process and control; recommendation on the insurance regulation and governance; guidance & support on the insurance regulatory and management reporting; and recommendation on accounting treatments.


The team works with multiple functions in delivering end-to-end solutions to our clients.


The ARA Senior Consultant role involves the following areas (the list below is not exhaustive):

• Preparation of proposals for client pursuits
• Preparation of presentation materials for client meetings, workshops and discussions
• Being a key team member of project teams
• Assist the team in tracking project progress
• Preparation of project deliverables

About qualification


The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in insurance audit; or consulting in the accounting or actuarial area.

Requirements


The candidate should have at least 3 years of working experience in insurance industry. We are looking for the following qualities:

• A good understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with IFRS
• A good understanding of insurance products
• Excellent aptitude for learning technology applications
• A proven ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple commitments
• Enjoys engaging with clients to identify their challenges and pain points, and working together with the team to design and implement the corresponding solutions
• A pragmatic and innovative approach to problem solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt to change and is open to new ideas
