Job Description
An educational organisation focused on research & development is looking to hire an Intellectual Property Manager. The role will handle IP and Commercialisation matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate contracts like research collaboration and intellectual property (IP) licensing agreements
- Manage the protection and disclosure of Intellectual Property (IP), including prior art searches for inventions, negotiating ownership and licensing fees
- Maximise potential commercialization of the institution\xe2\x80\x99s IP assets
- Handle all other IP related matters
- Minimally a degree in a related science subject
- At least 5 years of direct experience in Intellectual Property Management
- Experience handling Intellectual Property/ Trademarks/ Patents
