Job Scope:

Design Consultation:

Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.

Advise on space planning, design styles, color schemes, and materials.

Concept Development:

Create design concepts and mood boards.

Develop detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D models using design software.

Project Management:

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors.

Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to budget constraints.

Material & Product Selection:

Choose appropriate materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories.

Source and procure furnishings and decor.

Installation Oversight:

Supervise the implementation of design plans.

Ensure quality control and address any issues during installation.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure designs meet building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Educational Background:Degree

: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Certification

: Certification from a recognized body (e.g., NCIDQ) can be beneficial.

Experience:

Experience in interior design or a related field, showcasing a portfolio of completed projects.

Skills:Design Software Proficiency

: Skilled in CAD, SketchUp, or similar design programs.

Creativity and Aesthetics

: Strong sense of design, color, and spatial arrangements.

Communication

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and presentations.
