Responsibilities:

• Prepare interim and end of year financial statements for review
• Prepare tax and other compliance returns
• Provide support to accountants
• Assist with preparation of cashflow forecasts & letters
• Prepare letters, correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
• Help with training of less experienced staff

• Tertiary qualification in accounting essential
• At least 2 years of similar experience
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts essential
• Experience with Xero is must
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
• Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
• Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
• Time management/organization: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
