Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.

What does the

Regulatory Reporting

Team do in ING?

Prepare/Review MAS/Department of Statistics reports. Perform/Review variance analysis on MAS/Department of Statistics reports. Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders on regulatory reporting matters. Participate in projects relating to regulatory reporting Participate in month-end closing activities. Work closely with business, technology and other stakeholders from project initiation, testing to deployment Understand business requirements and translate them into functional requirements Evaluate business processes and ensure deliverable from project team meets regulatory requirements Participate in projects including system migrations and analyzing impact on regulatory reporting Enhance eisting report logic and improve efficiency Prepare/Review ledger reconciliation. Prepare annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors. Maintain local procedures/controls. Other ad hoc tasks

What would you be doing?

To work with regulatory reporting team members and understand the reg reporting space as well as work on BAU reports/ projects assigned

What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

You should have legal work rights in the country of internship. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Comfortable communicating across business functions and levels of seniority Self-starter, pro-active and team player Able to multi- task and must be hands on Proven analytical background Good data management skills Project management eperience is a plus Proficiency in Python, SQL and other tool links is a plus Strong software skills, in particular Microsoft Ecel Good eperience in Agile development methodologies Eperience in agile- related or data analytics

What would you gain from this internship?

Better understanding in the Regulatory Reporting space. This includes understanding of the reporting processes and data flow as well as importance of data quality
