The candidate will work on developing an intelligent and sustainable Energy Management System (EMS) for Residential Air Conditioning (RAC). The candidate will assist in:

• Developing learning-based algorithms to optimize RAC operations based on energy cost, PV energy generation, and comfort requirements.
• Developing predictive models.
• Conducting and evaluating the control strategies in case studies.

• Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (Jan 2024 onwards).
• Educational background in Automation (Control) /Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in machine learning, optimization, and data science.
• Advanced knowledge in Python/Matlab programming.
• Independent learning and self-motivation.

• Candidate should fulfil the visa requirements for employment in Singapore

• Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
• For foreign students studying overseas, you must be eligible for the Work Holiday Programme (WHP)
