Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) brings together the Disney\xe2\x80\x99s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization. DMED is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company\xe2\x80\x99s content engines. DMED also manages operations of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s theatrical business and streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ Hotstar.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the APAC content marketing team on APAC Originals manage a new process to effectively deliver Disney+ APAC Originals materials from home country around the world. The role will play a key part in developing the new processes and systems \xe2\x80\x93 from key new tools like Airtable and AEM to developing a streamlined transcreation process -- that we need to effectively build the \xe2\x80\x9cAPAC-out\xe2\x80\x9d ways of working and give them a front row seat into the inner workings of Disney\xe2\x80\x99s streaming platform across APAC and the rest of the world. This role is an opportunity to support campaigns in delivering best-in-class practices across APAC. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the APAC digital team, publicity, local market campaign leads and our US franchise title counterparts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with local markets and APAC digital team to track, manage process for APAC original assets
  • Work closely with APAC digital team and transcreation agency to streamline transcreation process
  • Work with global team on any trouble shooting for Airtable design
  • Track AEM migration to ensure accuracy of asset movement and upload for future titles
  • Ensure tracking up upcoming asset delivery and be the first line of defence for of upcoming deadlines and correct asset uploads
  • Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions, business reviews and campaign reviews
  • Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas for process improvement, while working with available assets
Internship Requirements:
  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor\'s degree
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between May to August 2023

Requirements:
  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field
  • Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel, and/or Korean or Japanese content
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  • Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
  • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strategic thinker with good communications skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
  • Knowledge or interest in project management and/or experience with project management tools is a plus
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; Korean/Japanese skills is a plus
