What the role is:Under the internship programme, you will be attached to the in-house design team in the Centre of Excellence for Architectural & Digital Design in the HDB Building & Research Institute.What you will be working on:You will have the opportunity to assist the Architects as they design an upcoming BTO development in Bukit Merah. In addition, you may also be required to assist in managing the construction of an ongoing BTO project at Ang Mo Kio and Tampines. You will work alongside engineers, landscape architects and environmental simulation engineers in a multi-disciplinary setting with a strong emphasis on BIM coordination. You will also be privy to the interactions between the consultant teams, contractors, and specialists, and the role which the Architect plays in the project. During your internship, you will be involved in the concept and design development, visualisation, launch preparation, tender preparation, authority submissions, and construction management of the BTO projects. You may also be given the opportunity to develop computational design assets to assist in detailed design development. You may also be involved in building physical study models for design reviews.What we are looking for:Candidates with knowledge in ArchiCAD and Rhino, including Grasshopper, are preferred.
