What the role is:Successful applicant will play an active role in supporting the Research and Development Division in research project by digitalising handwritten documents through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from May to August 2024.What you will be working on:The key project deliverables are as follows: \xe2\x80\xa2 Development of end-to-end solutions to extract and convert handwritten text from PDF/image to digital text via Amazon Textract. \xe2\x80\xa2 Productionalisation of the solutons to run and evaluate the conversion accuracy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other adhoc tasks required to support the project.What we are looking for:
- Strong in programming experience and proficient in Python/R/C++. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (such as clustering, Large Language Modelling (e.g. BERT), Deep learning etc.) and their real-world applications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with the use of Amazon Textract or equivalent Intelligent Document Processing Software.
