About the Unit

Yara is the world\'s largest producer of ammonia, nitrates and NPKs, offering solutions for sustainable agriculture respecting the environment. Our fertilizers and our crop nutrition programs were designed to help the sector of food production and to meet the needs of a growing world population. Our products and solutions help industry reduce emissions, improve air quality and prioritize effective operations safely.

Yara Africa & Asia (YAA) produces, sells, distributes and markets fertilizers and industrial products across Asia Pacific and Africa regions, with offices location and operational units in 20 countries. The region employs over 1800 employees and has a long history in the Asian Pacific and African markets, focusing on develop crop nutrition concepts that increase food production and create value to the growers, in particular smallholder farmers, whilst minimizing environmental impact of agricultural activities.

YAA is currently undergoing a major transformation, aimed at shifting the existing business models, generating new revenue streams and ultimately delivering profit through new Farming Solutions related activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with COMEX manager and commercial team to use best practice analytics and models to develop strategic actionable recommendations to enable region\'s commercial strategies
• Data mining of large data sets and structuring them to bring business context and actionability for Yara\'s crop solutions in the region
• Develop / enhance pricing dashboards to quantify impact of changes to existing product price, new product price to evaluate profitability impact by product line & region.
• Develop and/or enhance pricing dashboards to automatically report monthly price realization, discount trends and other key pricing KPIs

Profile

• Information Systems, Business Administration or Finance, Arts and Social Sciences Economics, Psychology or any related field
• Outgoing personality and perseverance to face direct pressure and challenges
• Openness to learn from diverse perspectives and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams with a willingness to take ownership
• You love startups and starting up. You are comfortable taking on new tasks or projects with little direction and adjusting course in response to feedback and information.
• User of microsoft office applications, python, R or other programming languages and business intelligence tools (power BI, tableau etc)
• Getting Excel to do tricky calculations is something you find exhilarating and are eager to share with others with a sales-like mentality.
• Highly desirable skills set in pricing tool such as PROs, Price FX experience or relational databases MSFT access mySQL.
