Job description:We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated category intern who will be supporting the groceries categories in RedMart Lazada.The ideal candidate needs to be inquisitive, is highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, possess quick learning abilities and have a high level of comfort communicating with stakeholders to achieve strong commercial outcomes. Internship Duration:Minimum: 6 monthsMaximum: 12 months About the job:As a category intern, you will get the opportunity to understand the end-to-end category management process, to learn both technical skills on products as well as being responsible for the execution of our campaign planning and strategy.
Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\xa2 Support Category Managers to execute category strategy, which includes optimizing promotions, pricing, range, availability that will impact the category\xe2\x80\x99s sales and profitability.\xe2\x80\xa2 Supplier Management: Work with existing/new suppliers to ensure timely execution of day-to-day operations\xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, QA etc\xe2\x80\xa2 Drive brand & sellers\xe2\x80\x99 sales performance through joint business planning and regular business reviews\xe2\x80\xa2 Market observation and employ data-driven analysis and provide insights to Category Manager\xe2\x80\xa2 Support internal campaign execution to maximise Business-As-Usual (BAU) and seasonal sales

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
\xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor Degree (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)\xe2\x80\xa2 Good market research and competitor analysis skills\xe2\x80\xa2 Highly energetic, self-motivated and proactive with a passion for e-Commerce & digital marketing and understanding the consumer journey\xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, able to perform data analysis\xe2\x80\xa2 Good market research and competitor analysis skills\xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills to facilitate stakeholder management.\xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication skills and able to build relationships with people from different backgrounds and cultures, both online and offline.
