What will you do?

• Lead/Facilitate/Participate in cross-functional teams in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that is aligned to corporate PPI productivity goals, tools and methods.
• Train/Support employees in PPI business system methodologies and tools.
• Facilitate one (1) kaizen events with cross-functional teams using the PPI 8-step method to resolve problems in either operations, inventory, transportation, quality or safety.
• Participate/Co-lead the sub-committee for Just-Do-It projects (review and coaching), around 5S improvements and improving visual management, and reducing/eliminating waste.
• Support in Industry 4.0 implementation of projects.

Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering

Experience

• Not required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Possess awareness in Industry 4.0 concepts a plus
• Good data analysis skills, present reports and communicate clearly (presentation skills)
• Good public speaking and presentation (for team facilitation)

Learning outcome (at least 3 points):

• Complete 3 key PPI module training to introduce Standard Work in a cell layout
• Establish a standard work playbook for that cell with different configurations
• Facilitate at least 1 facilitator led training (virtual or F2F) on a PPI tool for cross-functional collaboration/team work to establish the above
• Complete a project using the 8-step methodology during the internship (which can be used to supplement the industrial knowledge and journal as required by the institution)
