Sembcorp Specialised Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, provides design and build services with an in-house multidisciplinary consultancy. Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Building Services Consultancy & Project Site Construction (Design & Build) Assist in managing the financial & contractual provisions of all projects from pre-tender to post contract phases including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accounts etc Work closely with Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project costing Assist in developing suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements Help prepare project budgeting and costing reports Assist in cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparation, variations and final accounts. Assist in the review of contracts, prepare tender & contract documentations, tender analysis & reporting, measurement etc Assist in reviewing sub-contractors claims and materials on site
Help standardise all agreements (e.g. subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Background in Infrastructure & Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Construction Management, Building and Project Management, Civil Engineering & Construction Management or equivalent Possess positive learning attitude and good interpersonal skills to coordinate and collaborate on work processes on a multi-disciplinary basis Able to work independently with minimal supervision Good understanding & knowledge of contracts law and its application Preferably conversant in using CostX and/or Glodon Cubicost measurement software Strong communication and presentation skills
