Learning Outcomes

During the internship you will be able to get an overview and understanding on the demands and scope of a civil & structural engineering consultant. You will be involved in Beca projects by assisting our engineers in carry out structural design works and accredited checking works.

Job Scope

The job scope of the intern includes:


Assist in the preparation and documentation of Civil & Structural engineering works for building projects Assist in the coordination, checking and updating of design drawings and modelling Assist in the preparation and review of proposals and technical progress reports Assist in job control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting. Provide support in the preparation, review and compilation of documents for project tenders and job submissions

Pre-Requisites

Fundamental knowledge in reinforced concrete design, foundation design, steel design Attend training and development opportunities as directed Able to participate professionally and enthusiastically in project teams across disciplines for quality technical outcomes Proactive, highly motivated, and able to work independently - Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English Learning
