What the role is

The intern will be attached to Tote Board\xe2\x80\x99s Grant Management Division \xe2\x80\x93 Developmental & Partnerships (Capability and Capacity-Building) Department to support the team in the landscape review and stakeholder engagement of the key players in this new sustainability and green environment space that Tote Board wants to create impact in. Policy Review for Sustainability and Green Environment initiatives Project Description: The intern will be attached to Tote Board\xe2\x80\x99s Grant Management Division \xe2\x80\x93 Developmental & Partnerships (Capability and Capacity-Building) Department to support the team in the landscape review and stakeholder engagement of the key players in this new sustainability and green environment space that Tote Board wants to create impact in. Tote Board wants to ensure that we continue to play the role as a strategic enabler to identify white space in this new area and to anticipate emerging and future needs within this area. In curating new initiatives, Tote Board wants to identify sector and community partners and to co-create solutions to create impact in this area. Project Requirements: The intern will be attached to Tote Board\xe2\x80\x99s Grant Management Division \xe2\x80\x93 Developmental & Partnerships (Capability and Capacity-Building) Department to support the team in:
  • Engagement outreach sessions for the stakeholders
  • Conceptualise and drive the desktop research/landscape, including best practices overseas; and
  • Synthesising insights from stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 engagement sessions into the landscape scan
  • Grant evaluation work
  • Project deliverable requirements may vary or rescoped accordingly
The intern should be :
  • Available for a period of 8 to 10 weeks
  • Preferred profile of Interns: Year 3 to 4 students from Social Sciences, Economics, Business, Arts & Humanities, Sustainability studies and other relevant fields. Students from other fields are also welcome to apply.
Learning Outcome:
  • Intern will gain first-hand experience and exposure to the business, roles and functions of grantmaking within Tote Board
  • Exposure to policy formulation by providing sound and feasible recommendations
  • Greater knowledge and understanding of non-profit sector
