About the Role

The role is to assist our consultancy team in desk study research of this technology, its application and the existing/future commercial landscape and also to engage with industry experts in understanding challenges that can be addressed in commercially viable ways. This will require someone with relentless curiosity, a good communicator and outgoing, creative and visual thinker. It\'s very much about understanding a real world business problem and the commercial as well as technology challenges of innovation and upscaling, and not a \xe2\x80\x9ccoding\xe2\x80\x9d or \xe2\x80\x9chands on\xe2\x80\x9d role with technology. Individuals with some project exposure or experience in energy, transport or water infrastructure would be preferred.

This offers the candidate an opportunity to investigate the latest commercially-viable technologies emerging from research and labs and set the path for business opportunities to address use cases in sustainable infrastructure.



About the Organisation and Team

Mott MacDonald\'s Digital Advisory team in Singapore works with infrastructure and built environment clients at asset, city and national level on digitalisation and innovation. We\'ve delivered Smart Cities operating models, information management and urban systems alongside our infrastructure engineering consultancy business delivering Singapore\'s most iconic projects - including North South Corridor and Changi Airport Terminal 5. We also work on regional international development projects for the likes of Asian Development Bank.

About the Project

We have a current project starting at the end of August, for 4 months, to investigate the potential use cases for an emerging technology in infrastructure (this includes operational aspects such as emissions, infrastructure performance and underground asset location) and understanding the commercial viability of market-ready solutions on the international and local market.
