Intern, Digital Systems








Job Purpose



Digital Systems manages a wide range of projects to enable SMRT Trains to leverage on technology and digitalization, in enhancing rail operational, engineering and maintenance effectiveness and efficiency. Engineers on internship will not just be exposes to the various facets of project management, but also gain hands-on technology management, business value assessment and strategic planning.




Responsibilities



1. Perform project management including management of budget, timeline, user, vendors and all relevant stakeholder
2. Understanding and consolidate user requirements from various Rail Ops, Engineering and Maintenance functions.
3. Work with all stakeholders to define project specifications
3. Identify and review technologies and potential vendors for suitability of proposals
4. Ensure on-time and on-target delivery of project
5. Projects currently undertaken by DS include digitalization, Workforce 4.0, digital twin, intelligent automation and predictive decision support systems.
