The team is responsible for covering clients in this sector, originating, structuring and advising clients as they grow their business.We focus on two things, financing the buildout of renewables globally and helping our clients decarbonize their business.What would you be doing?Assist in originating, structuring, and executing Energy transactions:Prepare pitchbooks and other relevant materials for conferences, workshops, webinars, etcProvide analytical, research, and execution support to the Energy team, for both external and internal client requirements.Chance to participate on live deals and develop technical skills relating to energy-sector related transactions.What qualities and skills are we looking for?We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:Post or undergraduate in any discipline, specializing in engineering, economics, financeKeen interest in leveraging the financial markets to create positive impacts in the energy sectorHighly proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and WordExperience in data management and related programming tools will be a plusA good team player who is analytical, detail-oriented, organized and systematicExcellent communication skills with a can-do attitudeFluent in spoken and written English; knowledge in other Asian languages, in particular MandarinWhat would you gain from this internship?You will be an integral part of a market leading international team that is shaping the energy sector.An exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy transition and getting a "look-in" on how ING supports clients on their energy transition journey.
