We are seeking a motivated Finance & Data Analytics Intern to work on a strategic project focused on building a DIY standard reporting framework for all business units. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, financial reporting, and process design, providing exposure to tools and techniques used in corporate finance. You will collaborate with the Finance Business Partner team to develop a reporting template, validate data sources, and integrate business-specific metrics to deliver actionable insights for senior management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Report Development

• Design and prototype a DIY reporting template using data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query).
• Identify and structure core financial metrics for inclusion in the report.

Data Validation and Process Design

• Develop and document a data validation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Work with the Finance Business Partner team to test and refine validation steps.

Advanced Analytics & Supplementary Metrics

• Integrate business-specific metrics such as annualized revenue from new flows, direct contribution, entity funds under management, and market data details.
• Apply data analytics techniques to identify trends and insights that support decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
• Strong foundation in finance concepts and data analytics techniques.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Power Query is a must-have.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard design.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
