Job Description
Job Purpose
SMRT\'s internship will offer an opportunity for you to gain experience, enhance your knowledge in Finance and provide you with the exposure to kickstart your career. You will be working closely with different teams within Finance and to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation during the internship period.
Responsibilities
- Support the AR function and activities (comprising invoicing, banking in receipts, following up with and sending statement of account to customers) and ensure alignment with the Group\'s internal policies and procedures
- Perform month-end close in accordance with Singapore International Financial Reporting Standards (International) (\xe2\x80\x9cSFRS(I)\xe2\x80\x9d)
- Support monthly AP financial closing and management reporting, including performing variance analysis, review of vendor invoices and intercompany settlement, journal vouchers, schedules, batch payments, staff claims to ensure adherence to the Group\'s policies and guidelines
Pursuing Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or any Finance related fields.
Skills
Technical skills include:
- Proficient with basic Microsoft Office applications
- Strong initiative with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, meticulous, able to multi-task
- Positive attitude, high energy and willing to learn
