Job Responsibilities

The intern will be part of a team responsible for analysis/evaluation of the balance sheet structure of the Bank Group, including subsidiary banks and overseas operations. The intern will be required to:

• Help prepare, consolidate and analyse risk reports and data especially on interest rate risks exposures
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose and execute suggestions.
• Understand banking products, bank balance sheet structure and interest rate risk in the banking book
• Acquire knowledge of processes, controls and systems in a bank risk management setting.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduates majoring in Business, Finance or equivalent professional certifications with relevant experience in a financial institution; or
• Undergraduates majoring in Computer Science or equivalent professional certifications with relevant experience in programming, applicant familiar with SAS language will have an advantage.
• Holder of FRM will have an advantage.
• Team player, self-motivated and resourceful.
• Numerically inclined with a strong analytical mind.
• Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum commitment of 6 months is required
