Its diversified real estate asset classes include retail, office, lodging, industrial, logistics, business parks, wellness, self-storage and data centres.As an intern in the IT Security team, you will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and governance, contributing to the protection of our organization\'s information assets and enhancing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations:Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various monitoring toolsParticipate in the identification and investigation of security incidents and breachesSupport the implementation and maintenance of security measures and controlsHelp in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testingAid in the documentation and reporting of security incidents and their resolutionsCollaborate with the IT team to ensure secure configurations and updates of systemsAssist in the development and deployment of security automation scripts and toolsParticipate in regular security audits and compliance checksGovernance:Support the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standardsAssist in ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practicesHelp in preparing and updating security documentation, including risk assessments and control matricesParticipate in security awareness training programs and initiativesAid in the review and analysis of security-related data to identify trends and potential improvementsCollaborate with various departments to promote a culture of security awareness and complianceSupport internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidenceAssist in maintaining a comprehensive inventory of information assets and associated risksRequirementsPreferred studies in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer SciencePrior experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc), networking concepts, security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus softwareGood understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, techniques, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plusBasic knowledge in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), network systems, wireless technology, structured cabling system, and cybersecurity, preferably in IOT security, is advantageousHigh level of integrity and attention to detailCybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferredEagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threatsClosing Statement:At CapitaLand, we advocate fair employment practices, and recruit talents based on merit and fit with our Corporate values.
