Job FunctionHuman Resource and AdministrationJob SummaryThe Intern - Human Resource and Administration is responsible to conduct the initial screening of potential candidates, shortlist candidates based on organisation\'s guidelines.In addition, he/she provides administrative and logistical support during onboarding as well as administers employee engagement surveys and collates responses and feedback while ensuring confidentiality of information provided.He/she assists in procuring training programmes and documenting learning needs in the organisation, provides administrative support in conducting learning programmes. He/she is required to respond to employee queries that are related to HR related matters.He/she enjoys working in a team environment and interacts proactively with various stakeholders. He/She has a service-oriented mindset and can adapt to various forms of technology within his/her workspace to enhance his/her work. He/She is resourceful, eager to explore and analyse problems, and is able to communicate information in a clear and concise manner to meet others\' needs at the workplace. He/she is a detail-oriented person who is accountable and maintains accuracy in his/her work. He/She is able to follow through on processes.Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)Recruit and Source for Talent

  • Conduct screening of applicants resumes, data collection, shortlisting and interviewing with hiring manager
  • Liaise with applicants and recruitment agencies
  • Follow SOPs in selection process.
Learning programmes delivery
  • Collate data from managers about current competencies of their staff
  • Send course instructions to involved parties.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on learning requirements and course registration.
Enhance employee engagement and wellbeing
  • Collate and administer employee survey, feedback and suggestions.
  • Support and execution of programmes and initiatives designed to improve staff wellness
Support the management of workplace issues and grievances
  • Address and document employee issues according to SOPs.
  • Draft and disseminate communications messages to staff on HR related matters
Any Other duties assigned
  • Undertake any duties directed by managers.
Job Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
  • Basic Knowledge of Human Resource local compliance and regulations.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
  • Currently pursuing Higher NITEC in Human Resource and Administration or a related field.
