The opportunity

Would you like to gain global equity investment experience in the international office of one of the largest and most sophisticated asset management platforms in the world?

Based in Singapore, our High Conviction Equities division is looking for an outstanding self-starter to join on a 6 months\xe2\x80\x99 internship starting in January 2024

.

Who you\xe2\x80\x99ll work with

The High Conviction Equities is focused on investments in public / listed companies along with the mandate to evaluate alternate capital solutions such as, transactional publics (Pre-IPO, PIPE etc.) and structured equity trades in late stage companies. The Asia team adopts a sector-agnostic approach to investing and focuses on opportunities in Asia Pacific, particularly in India and Japan.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

In supporting the High Conviction Equities team, you will be responsible for helping evaluate new investment opportunities. Regular tasks will include industry and company research, building financial models, and drafting investment memorandums.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a concentration in business, finance, accounting or economics
  • At least in 2nd year of study with at least one prior meaningful internship experience
  • Keen interest in investing and familiarity with accounting and finance concepts
  • Intellectual curiosity and high energy with a strong desire to learn and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to perform in-depth analysis
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities and initiatives while remaining detail-oriented
  • You will be returning to your studies after the work term is completed
