Project Title:

Enhancing Planning Efficiency and FOUP Integration through Automation

Project Description:

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to explore how digital tools and automation can transform semiconductor manufacturing. The intern will engage in real-world problem-solving by designing and implementing coding solutions that enhance planning workflows and improve the integration of new Front Opening Unified Pods (FOUPs) into the production line.

Objective of the Project:

To develop digital solutions that improve visibility, reduce manual effort in planning operations, and streamline the FOUP injection process into the manufacturing line.

Project Scope:

Design and implement scripts or dashboards to automate data handling and visualization. Translate operational challenges into digital tools that improve planning efficiency. Investigate and propose enhancements to the FOUP injection process. Collaborate with engineers to understand planning constraints and develop solutions. Document technical solutions and present findings to stakeholders.

Learning Opportunities:

Gain exposure to semiconductor manufacturing systems and planning operations. Learn to apply coding and data visualization in a real-world industrial setting. Develop problem-solving and project management skills. Experience cross-functional collaboration in a high-tech environment.

Deliverable:

A set of functional dashboards or scripts that improve planning workflows. A prototype or tool that simplifies FOUP injection tracking or scheduling. Final presentation summarizing project journey, technical approach, and impact. Documentation package including codebase, user guide, and process flow diagrams.

Impact of Project:

The intern's contributions will directly enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual workload for engineers, and improve the integration of new FOUPs into the manufacturing line--aligned with continuous improvement in production planning.

Skillset Required:

Proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment.
