With a registered capacity of 2,797.7 MW, it is one of Singapore's largest electricity generators.The group has three subsidiaries: Geneco (Seraya Energy), which retails electricity for homes and businesses; PetroSeraya, which is the oil storage and tank leasing arm; and Taser, which operates the Tuaspring Power Plant.Besides being a Plaque of Commendation (GOLD) awardee at the National Trade Union Congresss May Day Awards 2023, YTL PowerSeraya has adopted four Tripartite Standards under the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices, and has committed to be a fair and progressive employer.We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Performance & Digitalisation intern to join our power plant team and assist with the digitalisation of our thermodynamic model. As an intern, you will be exposed to the development and implementation of advanced modelling techniques used to optimize the plants\' performance. Additionally, you will also be exposed to the generation of dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualize plant performance metrics and key performance indicators.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and implementation of advanced thermodynamic models for the power plant using Ebsilon Modelling software.
• Work closely with the operations team to collect and analyze data to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Utilize software tools to develop and simulate the power plant processes, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist in developing and delivering training sessions to plant personnel on the use of the digital models and related software tools.
• Generate dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualize plant performance metrics and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and P&ID
• Proficiency in using modelling software tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
