Vaccines help protect people from infectious diseases at every stage of life and our portfolio of marketed vaccines is the broadest in the industry.

Our vaccines facility at Tuas is a key manufacturing site within our global network supplying the active ingredients used to make multiple pediatric vaccines. Tuas site was officially opened in 2009. To date, the site has played a key role in producing more than 800 million vaccines for pneumococcal diseases. Tuas has a workforce of more than 415 employees.

We are expanding operations at our Tuas site adding new exciting products to our production capabilities and becoming an even more significant part of GSK\xe2\x80\x99s worldwide vaccines supply chain. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us in uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.

What will you do?

We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern in vaccines manufacturing. The intern will work under supervision of the QA GMP Lead and be involved in supporting the QA GMP team in day-to-day activities and work on improvement projects.

You will be required to:

Scan and archive of Batch Records

Manage GMP checklists/ reports from the QA GMP and Batch Release team. These include but not limited to the Post Production Batch Record Review Checklist, Batch Release Checklist, Complaint Investigation Reports.

Perform QA Gemba

Checklist/ Logbook Review

Maintain various tracker, e.g. QI tracker, checklist review tracker

Quality improvement projects (Kaizens)

Develop training guide for QA GMP/ Batch Release Intern & Improvement to induction programme for QA GMP Executive

What are we looking for?

Educational background \xe2\x80\x93 Undergraduate studying Bachelor Science in Pharmaceutical Science/Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering who is interested in learning more about manufacturing environment and vaccines

Strong written and oral communications skills

Excellent English proficiency

Meticulous, organized, and dedicated

Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams

Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, and problem-solve

Strong drive for performance and attention to details

A keen interest in vaccines manufacturing and a passion for knowledge
