Currently we are looking for graduate/undergraduate students with strong academic background and interest in the field of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering. You will have opportunity to work with the Venture R&D team to work on latest technologies and algorithms driving life science imaging and analysis machines under development. 2. Project and Scope

Life science instrument assembly, testing and debugging (ME, ECE, 2~3 students)

• Project brief
• Assembling and testing of complex life science Instrument and system modules under development
• Objectives
• To support in development, build and testing of a life science instrument and sub systems.
• Scope
• Understand various subsystem modules , electro mechanical, electrical, mechanical and optical parts of a complex life science instrument
• Understand Bill of Materials, Assembly requirements and support build of machine and modules
• Understand commands, controls for testing of the modules and machine
• Testing of modules and equipment, interpreting error and status messages, troubleshooting using error message
• Data analysis, graphs and presentation
• Deliverables/Learning Opportunities
• Understand functions and modules of a complex instrument
• Understand design, development and assembly process of a life science instrument
• Learn engineering troubleshooting methods and techniques. Statistical data analysis, reports and presentation
• Software interface and control, data analysis, scripting
