Location/Division Specific Information

Singapore - Gul Circle

Help to assist and improve with R&D microarray projects.

• Bring in new point of view and innovations to our department.
• Accomplish and visualize the desired result from our experiments.
• Chips in ideas and personnel to our various leading projects.

What Will You Do?

• Perform substrate surface characterization and analysis
• Prepare samples as requested, and assist in experimental run
• Perform laboratory housekeeping and ensure a good lab environment according to company guidelines
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

How will you get here?

Education

• University student in School of CBE, MSE, BIE, chemistry or related fields
• Possess minimum Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related fields

Experience

• Willing to work in clean room

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong initiative, meticulous with proven ability to work both independently and in a team

Learning outcome (at least 3 points):

• Able to understand basic microarray production
• Experience with hand-on skills to operate advance analytical instruments
• Understand basic knowledge of material surface characterization and analysis:
• Microarray production and process
• Material characterization and analysis
• Basic concept of DOE, R&D project in industry and trouble shooting
