Summary of the role:
The Department is responsible for all the lead to order activities including parts, swing engines, EC/EPC, VCA, Field Service, Overhaul and repairs. The team must liaise with all the internal stakeholders from finance, legal, service center, field service, parts order management and logistics departments etc. in order to get lead to turn enquiries into orders.
Responsibilities:
Prepare enquiries and work closely with internal Service Dept for Service Products offering, with knowledge in Engineering for calculation of Life Cycle Costing which requires understanding of service products service specifications.
Assist in review of Engineering specifications for parts/engines requested from customers with purpose to quote accordingly in Engineering Service products.
Assist in review of credit needs of service partners and customers on their business needs, which require engineering understanding how long installed base engines are in operations equating to potential service revenue.
Assist in follow up on additional discount structure pertaining to product engineering scope from Subsidiaries/Distributors/Customers with all stakeholders for approval.
Requirements:
University students with Business/Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels with positive working attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge on SAP (Sales & Distribution Module), Shipping and Incoterms, good customers service skills and supply chain on parts distribution will be an advantage.
A self-starter who takes initiative and appreciates teamwork.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and attention to detail.
Must be able to work in Tukang (Jurong) office
