About the Team:


Singlife's Sustainability Team is responsible for developing and implementing Singlife's sustainability approach in alignment with our sustainability strategy. The Sustainability Team manages environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in collaboration with other internal stakeholders, e.g. risk, investment, operational functions etc. The team also develops and implements sustainability programmes; communicates and engages with management and external stakeholders including business partners to execute on those strategies. This role will equip you with valuable career skills and create career prospects in sustainability.

Focus of the internship:


This internship is designed to support the Sustainability Team in organising the annual Sustainability Festival and publishing our annual Sustainability Report. The intern will get the opportunity to ideate and execute on activities and programmes planned for the Sustainability Festival, as well as support with qualitative and quantitative data collection for the Sustainability Report. The intern will gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration; hands-on event organisation; timeline and logistics management; stakeholder engagement; and sustainability reporting, including collection and organisation of sustainability-related data.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, ideation, and execution of activities and programmes for the Sustainability Festival Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support event logistics and communications Assist with tracking and reporting on the impact of festival activities and employee participation Support the collection and organisation of qualitative and quantitative data for the Sustainability Report Conduct desktop research to benchmark sustainability practices and support content development Help draft engagement materials newsletters or digital content for sustainability initiatives Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance sustainability engagement across the organisation Provide general administrative support as needed for sustainability-related projects

Key Learnings:

Hands-on experience in sustainability programming - from ideation to execution of events that drive awareness and engagement Project coordination and event planning skills, including managing timelines, logistics, and communications Exposure to sustainability reporting, including collecting and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data Understanding of ESG concepts and how they are applied in a corporate setting Professional skills development, including time management, critical thinking, and attention to detail A chance to contribute meaningfully to Singlife's sustainability journey and create positive impact

Education & Experience Requirements:

Students from local universities (e.g., NUS, NTU, SMU, SUSS, SIT) or polytechnics (e.g., NP, SP, TP, NYP, RP) are welcome to apply Currently pursuing a Degree in a relevant field such as:

o Environmental Studies / Sustainability / Environmental Science
o Communications / Marketing / Public Relations
o Business Administration / Management
o Social Sciences / Political Science / Public PolicyPassion for environmental and/or social sustainability, as well as general sustainability issues is strongly preferred Adaptable, creative and demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills * Self-motivated team player and eager to learn
