Get to Know the Role
You will work closely with the TFGI Programme Manager to develop research programmes for the institute, undertaking research and landscape analysis on social and economic issues accelerated by technology and tech-enabled business models in Southeast Asia.
This internship runs from January to May 2025, and you will be fully onsite.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will initiate data collection, data management and data analysis
• You will develop first cut of research data e.g. through desktop research, data analysis needed for TFGI's upcoming research works
• You will develop strategy for research engagements, including panel discussions, community conversations and dialogues
• You will draft research materials and shareable content e.g. slides, concept notes, message house for sharing to relevant team members for amplification of completed research
• You will support the team in daily activities

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Literacy on social and economic issues accelerated by tech-enabled business models in Southeast Asia
• Experience in research using different indices
• Inspect, cleanse, and model data to discover useful information
• Understand and apply statistical methods to analyse data.
• Published articles and journals
• Experienced at prioritising tasks, and project manage
• Evaluate challenges and develop solutions
• Express ideas in writing and verbally, and can foster positive interactions with team members
