GB Helios, a digital-first financial institution within the Goldbell Group, is seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Cyber Security Executive Intern. In this crucial role, you\'ll work directly with our Cyber Security Executive, gaining hands-on experience in safeguarding our organization and our customers\' data.

Here\'s what you\'ll do:

• Contribute to maintaining up-to-date security documentation: Assist in ensuring policies, procedures, and risk assessments align with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Learn the ropes of cloud security: Gain practical experience in managing and securing our network infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including identifying vulnerabilities and patching them promptly.
• Become a cyber threat hunter: Hone your skills in monitoring security logs and systems for potential threats, and learn to escalate and respond to incidents effectively.
• Bridge the gap between security and business: Understand the impact of security measures on business operations and work collaboratively with stakeholders to find solutions that balance security needs with agility.
• Expand your knowledge: Learn from our experienced Cyber Security Executive and participate in training opportunities to stay ahead of the evolving cyber landscape.

Who are we looking for?

• A highly motivated and curious individual with a strong interest in cyber security.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of basic security concepts and familiarity with security tools is preferred.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in computer science, information security, or a related field.
