Job Description
What the role is
You will be attached to the Translation Department (TD).
What you will be working on
Your roles include:
- Assist in the administrative preparations for National Translation Committee (NTC) and Resource Panel (RP) meetings and the daily operations of the NTC Secretariat
- Assist with user testing for TD\'s Translation Management System (TMS)
- Assist in research of other available TMS tools in the market, evaluate the usability of the features and identify those that can enhance the tool that TD has in place
- Good language and translation standards in English and Mother Tongue
- Good knowledge of current affairs
- Good time management skills
- Able to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
- Good project management skills
- Knowledge of video editing, graphic design, integrated marketing communications, event management and/or campaign management
- Knowledge of using translation management systems and/or Singapore Sign Language would be beneficial but not compulsory
