What will you do?
Support organization and delivery of GSK real-world evidence (RWE) activities
Develop materials for internal and external communication of RWE activities
Collate data for input into a health economic model targeted at public and private healthcare payers
Support the quality check of the internal materials
Desktop research on specific topics such as overview of RWE studies in the region and map access pathways for vaccines/pharmaceuticals in selected Asian markets
Literature reviews on PubMed / MEDLINE coupled with any grey literature, and supporting extraction and communication of key learnings
Potential structured interviews with key stakeholders
As a stretch goal, to be familiar with the model adaptation and translation of results to key messages and findings on visual aids that may be used for further dissemination
Support content planning, organisation and delivery of region-led internal training activities. Content may be related to concepts of incidence, prevalence, quality-of-life (QOL), etc.
Support day to day activities of the VEO GCI team
What will you learn?
Develop an overview of regional/local evidence generation strategies in a pharmaceutical company
Have an introduction to health economics, e.g. healthcare resource utilisation, network meta analyses, indirect treatment comparisons, public health impact and cost-effectiveness studies.
Get exposure to the biopharmaceutical business, asset strategy and GSK colleagues
