SGX (July - December 2024) Fall Internship Programme

FX & Rates Derivatives
Brief Overview:
This unit has global responsibilities for the FX & Rates business lines, and this includes product development, marketing, and management. It is actively involved in onboarding key strategic accounts across all geographies and driving the key sales plan to achieve strategic goals.
Learning Objectives:
The selected intern will help with various projects involving the FX & Rates business and operations. Examples will include:
(1) Developing an in-depth understanding of FX market microstructure, marketplace, and competitions(2) data mining of the daily trading volume and open interests, mapping for cross-selling opportunities
(3) Regular weekly and monthly write-ups of the FX market
(4) Customer validation report for new and existing products
(4) Monthly sales presentation material research
(5) Competitive Analysis (spreads, volume)
(6) Exposure to Sales and marketing through conferences and promotional events
(7) Analysis of customer segments\' trading patterns and behavior
