You will oversee and lead internal audit engagements, ensuring effective risk management, compliance, and governance processes within the organization. This role will involve conducting audits, preparing reports, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to internal controls and business processes. You will will play a key role in maintaining a strong internal control environment to safeguard the organization's assets, operations, and reputation.
Responsibilities:Lead and manage internal audit assignments, including planning, executing, and reporting on audits of various departments, functions, and projects. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. Develop audit plans and schedules in alignment with the organization's risk profile, working closely with senior leadership to identify key areas for review. Provide clear, accurate, and actionable audit reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations for process improvements. Evaluate compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Assist in the development of risk-based audit methodologies and tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with other departments to identify, assess, and mitigate business risks and enhance the organization's internal control framework. Track audit recommendations and follow-up on the implementation of corrective actions by management. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in internal auditing and risk management. Contribute to the development of the annual audit plan and provide input into the strategic planning process for the audit function.

Travel may be required for audits at various business locations
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CIA, CPA, CISA, etc.) is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related field Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead and manage audit teams, and to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present audit findings and recommendations clearly. Proficiency in data analytics a plus and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualities:IT audit experience Experience with risk-based audit methodologies and data analytics. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, GDPR, ISO 9001).
