Job Description

What the role is:
You will plan and execute audit assurance and advisory projects with the aim of identifying control weaknesses and making recommendations to strengthen governance and internal controls of SID.
What you will be working on:

• Plan and execute audit assurance and advisory projects o Appraise the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls o Identify risks and potential control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to strengthen governance and internal controls o Collaborate with stakeholders to drive change and enhance organisational governance o Support efforts to build capabilities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of audits o Promote good governance and control practices within the organisation through education and training What you will gain: o Competency in internal audit management and delivery o Knowledge and application of internal control frameworks, regulations, policies and risk management strategies to strengthen how the organisation is governed o Opportunity to network, improve communication, problem-solving and analytical skills unique to an intelligence organisation

What we are looking for:

• Recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline o Possession of professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) is preferred o At least three years of work experience in auditing or accounting o Ability to demonstrate a high degree of integrity and initiative o Ability to thrive and multitask in a dynamic environment, and meet deadlines o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills o Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
