Job Description

We are currently partnering with a global market leader in its industry, which is seeking to appoint an Internal Controls Team Lead to strengthen and enhance its overall compliance, governance, and risk management framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving internal control initiatives, supporting SOX readiness, and fostering a strong culture of accountability across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end implementation and management of internal controls to drive SOX readiness and ensure ongoing compliance. Oversee risk assessments, control testing, remediation tracking, and coordination with external auditors. Partner with various stakeholders to strengthen governance across operations, incduing providing training across the organisation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications preferred. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in internal controls or audit, with proven SOX implementation experience. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
