It also offers other services for seniors such as an active ageing hub, senior activity centres, community support for vulnerable seniors, and a sheltered / senior group home. In addition, it runs a chain of dental clinics, and a family medicine clinic.
Implementation of Quality Initiatives at AAC One of the initiatives is to roll out the new AAC Operations Standard in bite sizes to increase appreciation and adoption of the Standard. The intern will work with the Quality Manager to roll out this Standard and in the design of the methodology for compliance review. In addition, the intern will conduct compliance checks to review and analyse the operation processes to check whether the implemented controls and their output meet the requirements in the Standard. During the internship, the intern is expected to visit the different AACs for the adoption of the Standard and compliance review. The intern will report to the Quality Manager.
:
- Develop the rollout implementation plan and materials
- Design methodology for the review of compliance to AAC Operations Standard
- Conduct compliance checks, through methods such as interviews, observations and reviews of documentation, to ensure that quality management measures are in place, effective and sustainable
- Work with Centres\xe2\x80\x99-In-Charge to understand ground issues and concerns, identify areas of improvements, and develop improvement plans
- Compile, analyze data and findings, and provide recommendations
- Establish operational procedures to improve consistency and efficiency in day-to-day processes
- Raise awareness about quality and promote it to the AAC team
- May require to perform additional duties as requested
Qualifications
- Keen interest in quality management in eldercare sector
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiar with Google Workspace
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
