About The Role

This position is responsible for:

• Identifying and participating in procurement / improvement projects / initiatives to achieve cost savings for the organization.
• Assisting in operational and tactical sourcing activities, including negotiation with suppliers.
• Liaising with production/sourcing to ensure sufficient inventory for fulfillment and proper management of resources
• Creating, improving, and maintaining files on suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 pricing (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly), market effects, and PPV/MVA
• Managing sourcing status, and inventories - in partnership with supply chain
• Supporting financial reporting process: supplier pricing, rolling forecast, productivity reports, risks & opportunities estimation, etc.
• Supporting suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 relationship management tool: process for data for performance monitoring, reporting, etc.
• Participating in existing and prospective suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 meetings.
• Participating in internal stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 meetings.
• Providing input regarding supplier selection.

Roles and Responsibilities

Category management

• Knowledge of milk and base powder categories: suppliers, price mechanism, market etc.

Sourcing Strategy

• Assisting to develop the sourcing strategies

Reporting

• Prepare regular financial analytical report (PPV/MVA)
• Ensure accuracy and timely approval of supplier prices
• Report on coverage (price & volume) according to strategy and MRM policy

Supplier Relationship Management

• Supplier performance KPIs monitoring

To be successful in this role, you will need\xe2\x80\xa6

The following technical skills and soft skills:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Procurement, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Business.
• Internship or equivalent experience in procurement and data analytics
• Proficiency in the core Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to express ideas clearly and accurately (both orally and written) at all levels internally & externally with all stakeholders.
• Ability to create and build a sustainable network internally & externally with all stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and possesses strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Time management and planning skills
• Proactivity (taking initiative)
• Reliability \xe2\x80\x93 punctual, trustworthy and maintains an excellent attendance record
• Integrity \xe2\x80\x93 demonstrates high ethical standards, committed to \xe2\x80\x98doing the right thing\xe2\x80\x99
